Contact Us
Everything reaches us at one address: support@faq-ans.com. There is no contact form here, and no row of department addresses that quietly land in the same inbox anyway. This is the inbox.
One inbox, sorted by the editors
The editors read and triage this mail themselves. Nobody sits between you and the desk, which is the advantage of a small newsroom. The queue is real, though, so a clear subject line does most of the work for you. Put CORRECTION, TIP, PITCH, ADVERTISING, or PRIVACY at the front of it and your message reaches the right editor faster.
We reply in English. If English is a problem, write in your own language anyway and we will work it out at this end. A tip that arrives badly translated is still a tip.
Corrections and factual errors
Errors jump the queue. Send the link, the sentence you think is wrong, and the source that shows the correct version if you have it. You do not need to be polite about it. Readers catch a good share of what we get wrong.
We look at anything flagged as a correction the same working day where we can, and act on confirmed errors as soon as they are verified rather than holding them for a batch. Our corrections policy explains what changes on the page and where the change is logged.
Story tips, including the sensitive kind
Most of our best story ideas arrive as a question somebody could not get answered elsewhere. A recall a dealer is being vague about. A patch note that quietly removed something you paid for. Send it in the words you would use to search for it.
If your material is sensitive, say so in the first line and do not attach anything yet. We will reply with a way to continue that fits the risk you are taking, and agree what protection you need before any documents move. We deliberately do not advertise a phone number or a messaging handle, because a channel nobody is watching closely is worse than none.
Pitches, press releases and commercial enquiries
For a pitch, tell us the question your story answers and who is asking it. Two paragraphs is plenty. Press releases are read, but an announcement is not a story for us until we can say what it changes for a reader. Expect a reply on pitches within a few working days, and no reply to a release unless we have questions.
Advertising, sponsorship, and partnership mail goes to the same address with ADVERTISING in the subject, and is handled on the business side, not by the desk that would cover you. What we sell and what we refuse is on the advertise with us page. Commercial enquiries normally get a first answer inside two working days.
Privacy and data requests
Requests about your personal data, including access, correction, and deletion, come to this inbox with PRIVACY in the subject. Tell us what you want and enough detail for us to find any record of you. Our privacy policy says what we hold and why, and the cookie policy covers what is set in your browser.
We acknowledge data requests within a few working days and finish them inside the period the applicable law allows. If you are writing about copyright or a takedown, the DMCA page lists what your notice must contain. Sending it complete saves us both a round trip.
